Protected: The Meadow

He walked thought the woods with outstretched arms. He felt his way through the darkest hour before dawn, and saw a faint light in the distance. He continued to make his way through the forest, never taking his eyes off of the light.  Minutes went by, and he witnessed a bright silhouette. He tore his eyes away for only a moment, and saw the coming of the sun. He sped through the branches, roots, and briars, and nearly falls. Finally, he had nearly made his way into the clearing. As he came close to the edge, he called to the figure, and found angelic eyes staring in his direction. The silhouette was a woman. Why she stood at the edge of the forest, he didn’t know. He broke through, and found himself in a meadow of clover and dandelions. She turned to look...

Something More

High tide and steady seas, your heart went out to me. Soft winds and low lights, you defeated me without a fight. Moonlit dances and night breezes, I can barely breathe. Midnight kisses and cool rains, there is no pill for this pain. Suns rise and times fly, remember when you were mine? Empty words and dead lights, you left me without a fight. Haunted visions and blurry sights, was I wrong and you, right? Something more and a simple wish, I do not deserve this.

Forbidden Fruit

Thoughts lost, they burned with the midnight oil. The tell sign of stilettos in the dark. Surround my mind in a lustful coil, and if you bite, be sure to leave your mark. Come to me, and I shall put down my pen. Open my eyes with your words, grant me sight. Tell me a story of worlds without end, as I explore you discovering flight. Share with me your knowledge of love and sin. If you please, give me the forbidden fruit. Show me the apple, and I shall begin, and I shall feed, as Daniel plays his lute. Be touched by the heavens, and know embrace. and give me the nectar I wish to taste.

Winter Lily

A flower that blooms in any season. The harshness of winter shall not harm you. Your majestic petals defies reason. Winter is coming, I shall see you soon. Your fragrance in the air intoxicates, and renders me helpless beyond measure. I wait patiently, as I tempt the fates. I would keep you close, you would be treasured. Valhalla shall wait, for I am not done. I have life to live; a lily to see. I have nothing to give you, but save one. I can only offer you, all of me. The journey is far, close to the sea, but I must feel her crimson tips over...

Senses

Hear me now; I’m screaming. See that I’m torn beyond recognition. Smell the corruption of my tainted soul. Taste the salt of my oceanic tears. Feel me, and know the steady beat of my heart.

Creating Auroras

Once again, I must fly. My services are needed, and I am happy to oblige. It does get old after a while, and there is a limit to my contributions. I tire, just like anyone, except that my limit seems to be infinite. I’ve never reached it. I’ve always kept pressing, I have always seemed immortal, but of course, I am not. It must be that I cannot accept defeat, in any form, when it is solely my actions that determine the outcome. I have been in unimaginable situations, and when I recall them from the vault of my memory, the scenario I remember is much worse than what I felt during them. This frightens me. I see myself as an emotionless monster at times, but it contradicts what I feel for others. I have been called a multitude of horrors, but they only...

Purgatory Dreams

Darkness befalls me, yet I do not sleep. I don’t feel myself falling, and the hours creep.   Oblivion surrounds me, but I cannot turn. I feel only longing, I feel only yearn.   This place is ancient, and so full of dread. Am I still living, awake in my bed?   Will I rise with the Sun? “No” says the Fates. For this is the place, where the dead must wait.
